The Tatlayoko Field Station supports conservation of regional biodiversity through scientific research and environmental education.

Our Vision

We are developing a world-class centre in the Tatlayoko Lake Valley focused on scientific research, environmental education, and public outreach.

Our Surroundings

The Tatlayoko Field Station works to conserve the natural environment of the Coast Mountain wilderness, from its inland slopes to the Pacific coastal inlets, and of the adjacent Chilcotin Plateau, from Fraser River west to the Rainbow Mountains.

Meet the Team

The concept of a research base and environmental centre in the West Chilcotin has been advanced by many people for many years. Idea finally became reality in 2019 when members of the Tatla Lake community created the Tatlayoko Field Station Society and leased Lincoln Creek Ranch House from Nature Conservancy of Canada.
